Explosion Rocks Tirana, Albania

As you may be aware, over the weekend a major explosion took place in Tirana, Albania.  The explosions were at an ammunition depot and have lasted for 18 hours.  They could be heard 100 miles away. The most recent count is 240 people are injured, 9 killed and over 12 are unaccounted for. At least 200 buildings were destroyed.
We have been in contact with Nathan and our OCMC missionary team. We thank God that all of our team members are safe.  The Lindermans (Dr. Charles and Maria) live out in that area and their house suffered minor damage (windows blown in).
We grieve with the families of those who are injured, missing or killed.  Please keep our missionaries in your prayers as they reach out to the people of Tirana in the aftermath of this disaster.
Fr. DavidC. Rucker, Associate Director
